Canon EOS Digital Rebel
I'm looking at the Canon EOS Digital Rebel and I'm thinking that it may be a good place to start looking. It's features seem accessible enough to get started with and it is much cheaper than the EOS 20D (which would be FAR MORE camera than I'd need). The downside to all of this is that I've already promised my wife a new dishwasher, new curtains and new paint on both the inside and outside of the house. I'd be more than willing to accept a camera as a gift, however... any takers... er, um givers? ;-) ;-)
