Anniversary
Well, I just got back from the coast where I spent a lovely weekend with my wife for our six year wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Seaside Motel in Cayucos, CA. It's an absolutely charming little place that is within easy walking distance of the pier and some very good little restaurants. Cayucos is one of those old fashioned little beach towns that isn't that touristy at all. It's cozy, comfortable, and easy to just lay back and relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. Did I mention the restaurants? Dang they were good.
Anyway, while we were gone I see that the Olympics came to a close and the Republican National Convention began. I enjoyed the former and am going to skip the latter. I already know who I'm voting for and it's not going to be Kerry. I prefer to vote for someone who is capable of making up his mind on his own and sticking with that decision even if I don't always agree with all of his decisions.
Anyway, did I mention the restaurants? ...
