RNC Bloggers

I've been tracking some of the RNC Bloggers and I have to say I'm only mildly more impressed than I wasn't with the DNC Bloggers. The coverage of the protests and the commentary about the first night speakers was far better than anything the DNS bloggers managed to put together, however there is still to much navel gazing and not enough real meat. Blogging is cool because it provides insight and perceptual depth. The RNC Bloggers could score major points if they would stop focusing on the Stars and instead focus on the issues, focus on what is said, what isn't said, etc. For example, it would be very cool if some of the bloggers could perform delegate interviews. I mean, isn't blogging supposed to be about the point of view of the individual after all? Let's hear what the delegates have to say about the speeches. Let's hear about what the delgates think the issues are? How much attention do the delegates pay to the protesting going on? What do delegates really want to hear those on stage talking about? How do the delegates feel about Kerry? Invite delegates to guest blog for you. Step out of bloggers row and mingle, talk, get the pulse of the individuals.
