So I installed Dapper Drake today. Specifically, I upgraded my Breezy install using the good ole “sudo apt-get dist-upgrade” command. The upgrade itself was quick and painless but the aftermath is going to cause me a few headaches. The upgrade broke my Wine environment so now I can’t access Notes; the upgrade also managed to uninstall OpenOffice and break my Liferea install. For some reason, the screensaver config is not available from the “Preferences” menu and the sound mixer suddenly doesn’t want to work no matter what I do.

Update: Liferea, Sound and OpenOffice are all working now. Still not sure what’s up with Notes/Wine.
